5 Post-Workout Glow Up Tips

  1. Cool down: allow your body temperature to reduce back to normal slowly with a cool down. As long as your body temp is up – you will continue to sweat! So a gentle 5min walk/jog or some light stretching should give you enough time between workout and wash to kickstart recovery and bring your body temperature down.
  2. Hydrate: replenish your body’s hydration levels by drinking plenty of water. This aids recovery and helps to cool your body temperature down. If it has been a particularly hot and sweaty session it will help your body absorb water by adding a hydration tablet to your water bottle, having a sports drink, or eating a salty snack while rehydrating.
  3. Hot/Cold shower: a quick way to start recovery while showering post-workout is by swapping the water between hot and cold temperatures. This helps flush blood back around your body and regulates body temperature, all while freshening up! Try 1min hot, 1min cold x 3, promise it’s not as bad as it sounds!
  4.
